I haven't posted a blog update in quite awhile.A lot has happened over the summer including a kick ass trip to Montreal for Mascara & Popcorn Film Festival with two of my stars Samantha Mack and Nyka 'Tadpole' L'Esperance.

 My short film NO PETS ALLOWED has received some positive and gross out reactions which is totally awesome!I thank all my cast/crew/musicians and artists for all this.Heard someone gagged over my film at Little Nightmares Canadian Horror Film Festival!Presently I am a co-producer on Matt Frame's film CAMP DEATH III.I am also working on my own new short GRANNY FUCKERS with Co-writer Trevor 'Spud' Hagen,my first collaboration film.We begin filming next week.STOKED.I will be on 2 different podcasts in September..Keep your ears peeled.Last but not least I will be going to San Diego in October for FANtastic Horror Film Festival extra stoked on that too!! I'm so grateful for ALL the people in my life.They have been so awesome!Love all the new friends I've been meeting too.Bye for now!

Blog update after a long hiatus

Happy 2014 everyone!!

I haven't had a blog update in quite sometime.2013 was one hell of a year.I had an equal part of great times meeting new friends and great experiences as well as a couple personal losses which resulted in me taking time off my new film No Pets Allowed.Now it's a new year and No Pets is ready to be released very soon.I'm very grateful for all your patience and support.
Here's a few things that happened this year so far.I had a most wonderfully RAD time on Terror Troop Podcast as well as getting geared up for Mascara & Popcorns Body Horror Contest in Montreal which No Pets will be a part of AND I will be attending.Pretty fucking excited about this!!More news will come out when No Pets is out.Thanks for hanging in there!!Links below to the podcast with me plus a very cool Promo video made by Festival Director Florence Touliatos!!

Mascara & Popcorn Film Festival 2013 in Montreal

So I had the most amazing time at the Mascara & Popcorn International Film Festival 2013.I had the honour of being part of the Jury Panel which had some awesome people on it.Director George Mihalka,Susan Curran from Anchor Bay,Rodrigo Gudino from Rue Morgue and the wickedly talented Filmmakers Cassandra Sechler,Eric Falardeau,Remi Frechette and Kamal John Iskander.Hosted by the lovely Patricia Chica, Director of award winning Ceramic Tango starring Richard Cardinal and Holy Scar.It was a 4 day Festival with Black Carpet fun,shows,make-up and of course a whole whack of short films,which rocked!!Being on a Jury with experienced people really helped me learn more about filmmaking since basically I'm still new at this.I couldn't have had a better time with these people.I meet so many cool people as well and had a BLAST with them roaming the streets of Montreal until 4am.Anxious for next year!ALL you people ROCK!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Florence Touliatos for putting on such a RAD Festival!!Here's to 2014!!

As a young child Rebecca was traumatized by her Father's cruel way of dealing with the animals she brought home. As an adult she still has a great love for animals but the pets she has are quite unusual.

Madame Soleil's Tea Party is PUBLIC

JUNE 1ST 2012 Madame Soleil's Tea Party was released publicly on Black Flag TV.After that it hit the festival circuit.It's about an old lady who invites service people into her home for tea but wants them to stay forever.Shot in French with English subtitles. I have decided to make this 6 minute short public and focus on my upcoming short No Pets Allowed.ENJOY it's really kinda funny.It also was Nominated for Best Actress and Best Director at The Jersey Gore Fest.
