After a short and very unexpected Festival run,Granny Fuckers is now available on YouTube.
Granny was original made for a Body Horror contest.Spud and myself co-wrote and co-directed as well as him being the "star" Granny.We never intended to submit it to festivals but it got a huge response so we entered a few and picked up a couple awards on the way.It's the end of the year and new projects begin in January.Enjoy Granny!! or not...HAHAHA! So after a wonderful festival run.No Pets Allowed has played its last festival and is retired from the circuit.I'm very proud of all my cast and crew for helping me make this crazy,funny little short.With that being said,it is now publicly available.So enjoy my twisted little film.The link is at the very bottom.
No Pets Allowed short film... As a young child Rebecca was traumatized by her Father's cruel way of dealing with the animals she brought home. As an adult she still has a great love for animals but the pets she has are quite unusual.

Drown Me in Silence

So things have happened weird and 3 Days of Purgatory is on the back burner for a bit.I wrote a new film under Blue Girl Productions in the long silence and have cast and crewed it.Ready to shoot the end on November.It is a micro short but powerful in how being a Mother is frustrating, lonely and helpless at times.

It's called Drown Me in Silence.

I have cast Rina Di Palma Kapusta,who's a Mother of 3, a Bikini Body Builder and Personal Trainer.She will be playing the lead Mother and Wife.

I have also cast Mike Schramek "SHREDDZ" Professional Wrestler of the ECCW
as the Husband

Deb Graf is on board again as the BEST SPFX person EVER and Trevor "SPUD" Hagen is the Cameraman.I wrote this and will be producing and directing.I'm very proud of this one as a non comedy like I do.HA!I will have more news as to editor and more producers soon.I just couldn't hide this one for too long..YEEEAAAH!!

No Pets Allowed has submitted to its last festival.

My short body horror film No Pets Allowed has just hit its last festival submission.While I could definitely apply to more I feel the need to retire it and focus on our new horror film 3 Days Of Purgatory.It has had one hell of a run which was very highly unexpected with rave reviews and a bad review which was totally awesome because he stated it was like a John Waters film.I was also honored with receiving 4 awards for the film over the last year it's been out on the circuit.One of the best things is making new filmmaker friends and attending festivals in different cities.I love following my dreams!! No Pets Allowed will be made public in November 2015. With Granny Fuckers submitted to a few festivals,I will not be promoting this one as much as it was really only made for a contest...I must say though it has had great reviews and reactions to which I'm totally thrilled as is was a debut collaboration between me and Trevor " SPUD" Hagen under Smashed N Gravy Films.We are in the works of our new horror 3 Days Of Purgatory.To all the Festivals that played No Pets Allowed,the bloggers,reviewers and my filmmaking community,the support over the last year...It's amazing!!THANK YOU!

Hilarious Video reaction to Granny Fuckers

I made a post the other day making a deal.I would send a link and password to people who had not seen Granny Fuckers yet and in return I would get a video reaction from them.Well I got my first one from Writer/ Director MATT FRAME of Camp Death III: The Final Summer.His reaction is totally hilarious!He was also rad enough to edit it so it's just reactions.I'm stoked he mentioned I created a new kind of genre...HAHAHA!! ENJOY!!

Smashed N Gravy Films makes its Comedy Body Horror debut

Today I finished editing the film Granny Fuckers I was working on with Trevor Hagen aka SPUD from the Dayglo Abortions.We concocted this hilarious,gross idea while on BC Ferries on our way from docking to the bus stop..So literally a 10 minute discussion turned to a hilarious trashy film.While it is a big switch over from my usual Blue Girl Production stuff doing comedy trash was a total blast.As usual I used people I know.Deb Graf,who did the award winning make-up for No Pets Allowed, did the SPFX as well as acted as Granny Fucker #3.Gerrid Jonathon,her partner in crime,played Granny Fucker #2 and helped around on set.He also played the alley victim in No Pets Allowed.Aaron Foster,bassist from Legion of Goons,played Granny Fucker #1.His band is popular in the local punk scene here in Vancouver.I seem to always use musicians for actors..HAHA!And the co-creator of Granny Fuckers SPUD from the Dayglo Abortions,who plays Granny herself!!He's so fucking funny and makes the ugliest Granny ever.These are the stars but I certainly can't forget to credit the awesome Samantha Mack who plays the ditsy news reporter at the end.She's so hilarious and fun!I must say I know the coolest most bad ass talented people.I'm stoked they are in my life.You guys ROCK!!THANK YOU!

 

 

We made this specifically for the Body Horror in Montreal in which me and Deb will be attending and her competing as a make-up artist..I will be the model!! I won't be applying to many festivals for this one just because it's so trashy that I'll just be wasting my money on submission fees.HAHAHA! Overall,this was an awesome collaboration between the two of us under SMASHED N GRAVY FILMS and I thought I'd never do comedy trash but it's always great trying new things with awesome people!
